Most answers are below. If yours isn't, email us; a person reads every message, usually within a day.
All of them sync to Apple Health. In OffTrail go to Log → Apple Health → Connect, allow the categories, then Import. OffTrail pulls the last 90 days and skips anything already in your log. Re-import any time; duplicates are ignored.
Export the activity as FIT from your watch app, then either share it to OffTrail from the share sheet, open it from the Files app, or use Log → FIT file → Import. The run is added with heart rate, climb and the route. If the same run is already in your log it's skipped and you'll see a note.
Hand-logged runs have no track. Health-imported runs show one if the source app saved a route to Health (COROS and Garmin do; some apps don't). FIT files always carry the track if the watch had a GPS fix.
Yes: More → Profile → Distance unit. Every stored run and plan is converted, so nothing gets mislabelled.
It needs a few real efforts to estimate your fitness: at least four runs in the last 28 days, or a personal record entered under More → Profile. Imports from Health count.
From your best recent efforts it estimates a VDOT and an endurance exponent, converts the course into equivalent flat distance using the energy cost of each grade, then applies altitude, descent and aid-station adjustments. The "Why" panel on the Goal Race screen shows every factor. The full method is public in the app's methodology document.
Yes. More → Goal Race → Import GPX. If the GPX has no elevation the app uses the climb you typed.
Plans start on the Monday of the current week and end on your race day. If the race falls early in a week, the last week is shortened rather than padded.
Nothing. Coaches bring athletes; athletes pay for Pro.
Your invite code is on the Athletes tab (share it any way you like). Athletes also get matched to coaches whose specialties, style and budget fit their intake answers.
Yes: Methodology → Edit methodology. Your answers are kept and you change only what you need.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → OffTrail. Cancelling keeps Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
Open any Pro feature and tap Restore purchases on the paywall. It's tied to your Apple Account, not to OffTrail's sign-in.
More → Account → Delete account. Your account and intake answers are removed from our servers immediately. Runs in your iCloud are yours to keep or delete. You can also email us and we'll delete server-side data within 30 days.
Email us with the run or the FIT/GPX file attached. Climb, distance and pace calculations are all documented, and we'd rather fix a bug than argue with it.
