Terms

Terms of Use

Effective October 27, 2026

These terms cover the OffTrail iOS app and OffTrail Pro. By using the app you agree to them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

Not medical advice

OffTrail generates training plans, heart-rate zones, load assessments, race predictions and fueling suggestions from the numbers you give it. They are estimates for healthy adults, not medical advice. Consult a doctor before starting a training program, and stop if something feels wrong. You are responsible for your own training decisions and for running safely in the terrain you choose.

Your account

You need an Apple or Google account to sign in. Keep your sign-in secure; you're responsible for activity under your account. One account per person. You must be at least 13.

OffTrail Pro

Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store, monthly or yearly, with a free trial for new subscribers where offered. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Coaches and athletes

Coaches use OffTrail at no charge and are independent of OffTrail; we don't vet their qualifications and aren't a party to any coaching arrangement. Anything a coach prescribes is their advice, not ours. Treat invite codes as private.

Your content

Runs, routes, files and intake answers you put into OffTrail stay yours. You grant us only what's needed to store and process them for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. Don't upload data you don't have the right to use.

Acceptable use

Don't interfere with the service, attempt to access other users' data, reverse engineer the app, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

Availability and changes

OffTrail is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and available but don't guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free predictions. Features may change; if a change removes something Pro subscribers paid for, we'll say so in advance.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, OffTrail is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for injury arising from training decisions made using the app. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
